Conchord Wolfchyld
Season: 3
Personality:
Conchord is not a fan of people.
As a result, he took on the self-branded title of Ice LifeGuard.
He is the youngest of three brothers, and the only one with any ambition. He would rather among wolves than people. Wolves have a pack mentality. Humans will simply take when not looking. Due to his various clientele, Conchord has trained himself in six different languages. Most of those who hire him assume he’s strong but not smart. They are wrong. The mountain is not a static challenge. It develops new games every day, and it takes a chess master to adjust in harmony. Like many of his generation, Conchord remembers the days before winter’s curse. He seeks to break the Ten Towns of this affliction, and he is curious how his fellow adventurers can bring about the sunrise again. His keen understanding of the Eternal Winter has created opportunity for him. The “Ice Lifeguard” has earned his keep by saving tourists who think they can take on the most difficult terrain. He has a complex relationship with Serigade. Conchord thinks of himself as a loner, but his strong sense of family leaves him with a need to connect with the members of his crew.
Fighting Style:
Conchord is at his best when he can channel the claws, fangs, and strikes of a predator. He uses a combination of melee weaponry from swords to pick axes to rend into his enemies’ flesh. He finds the stain of enemies’ blood on the snow almost an objection to Aural’s hold on the Ten Towns. He has some basic spell casting abilities, but he has never studied the art. He attributes his healing abilities to his familial nature and his weapon spells to his rage. He does not fear death for the right cause but will not sacrifice himself of others for a trivial effort.
