When we last left our heroes, Kara (aka Boom) had just figured out how to turn into a Hydra. Temper expectations for this episode to fall in line with the consequences. How many heads do you throw at an incoming enemy?
The intrepid heroes continue into the Lion-themed dungeon. This time, we debate crosswalk buttons, the ranger and the thief bond over Spider-Man, and quote the song, “Selfie.” That’s just the first three minutes. The cleric learns that she can create food, and Bastian finally gets his actual name!
We lost a night of game play due to screwed up audio settings while I was on the road. I apologize that it’s not a seamless transition from the last episode. On the plus side, we open this episode bitching about 50 Shades of Grey, so there’s that.
We’re back with more dungeon crawl goodness. Several of the players have some early spring allergies or a cold, so pardon the sniffles. Brandon gets ratted out by Discord. We face an evil tree. Embiggen is now a drinking game.
